Bringing The Human Touch to Life

The Human Touch“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ~ Lao Tzu

Writing The Human Touch has been an amazing journey for me.

Since my teens, I wrote journals as a way to express myself and give a voice to my feelings. Although I never thought of myself as a writer, my writing journey began during my teenage years.

In my mid 20s, many friends encouraged me to consider writing a book of my life stories and honestly, I was not ready. Although in my gut, I had a feeling that one day, I will be writing a book.

As time moved on, and many years later, I got married. When my son was born, I kept a notebook by my bedside longing to share my stories and lessons with him. It was to me valuable lessons I learnt throughout my life but I actually found it hard to write. So I spent much of my time reflecting on this.

But … my little notebook still sat by my bedside.

A few years later, my daughter was born and a box marked Singapore appeared while we were shifting. They contained all my written journals. It was from this moment that I was inspired to write these stories to pass on to my children. My longing to write grew stronger and stronger, slowly I began to draft some notes from my journals and started writing my book.

It was emotional for me to step back in time to remember my childhood because I had to relive my life of fear. But I knew that it was needed so that I could show you the impossible and the miracles through my stories and experiences that has happened throughtout my life.

When you go on a journey from darkness into light, you experience miracles.
