Marketing from Your Heart to Create Engagement

How do you move your business to the next level and use video marketing strategies to grow or identify your niche?

I recently recorded a couple of cooking videos for Rani’s Cuisine. In her first video, she shows you how to make paneer, an Indian cheese use in Indian Curries. By creating videos, she is showing potential clients why she loves what she does even without saying it. This is what I call Marketing from the Heart. And here is her ┬ávideo.

So you have built your website, gained a handful of clients … what’s next …

Let’s face it, we all want that sale … money to help us pay rent, our mortgage … to pay our bills … the list goes on. But honestly … what message are you giving future and potential clients?

That you are in business for the money? For a sale?

Why do you really do what you do?

What is your cause?

What makes you different to others?

We live in a world where material possession and wealth rules. Because we crave for attention, we want to be heard to feel a sense of belonging.

What if you could create a meaningful connection with your potential clients … build your relationship with them further …

Unique Selling Point

What is special about you or what you do that makes you different to other, that will help you stand out.

When competition are using the same marketing strategies as everyone else, how do you turn around and do something different to stand out.

Using Video as a Marketing Strategy

Why videos?

Because when people see you often, they begin to connect with you. They feel your energy. Your why … your cause … your sincerity in the message you bring forth to them.

And with videos, you can take your audience on an emotional journey into your heart. They get to see you do, what you are passionate about. They see you execute this as your core, effortlessly. Words only show half of what action can do to propel you forward, on a worldwide stage.

Telling your Story

People crave for stories that touch their heart. And as you share this with them, you invite them into your heart. They don’t buy your products or services … they buy the experience. They envision a future event created by a memory in this present moment, triggered from what your product of service makes them feel. It is all about what they experience with you. And if they see you often, you repeatedly invite them to get to know you better. They connect to your story … your why and cause for doing what you do. You create your tribe.

Technology and the digital age, has open new mediums for us to create meaningful connections where you can engage and exchange subliminal messages that makes a difference.

  1. Hi Alison,

I totally agree that storytelling and sharing your own experience is what makes a blog unique. I’ve noticed that the people who are truly successful with their blogs are the ones that share their own unique stories.

I’ve been working on using this method with my own blog. However, I still find myself having difficult opening up and sharing my story.

Thanks for the reminder, now I need to write my next blog post from my own experience. I know the more I work on improving my writing and sharing my story, the easier it’ll get.

Thanks again and I hope you have a great day.

    – Susan
