School Photos and Video Yearbook

What do you do with all your children’s school photos and videos?

I truly can’t believe how time has gone so quick. It wasn’t long ago when my son started Prep and last year he graduated from Primary School. If you are like me, you would’ve recorded their story in photos and videos.

Every moment that meant something to us .. is so important to share with them. The moments that matter the most are the one you create with them.

The ones that give meaning to our life .. the fun adventures. These are moments that remain in our memories and theirs throughout.

This year is a milestone year for my son .. a new chapter begins in his life. And from what I can see .. he’s really excited.

And so am I ..

A proud moment for all parents and an awakening that shows us .. it’s almost time to let go.

Let’s Take a Walk Down Memory Lane ..

Prep to Grade 6 Yearbook

You know .. those yearly class photos.

The excursion photos.

The school play video.

Oh and how can we forget the paintings and artwork.

I’ve even kept some creative writing pieces and poems.

Why would you keep these little pieces?

Because it shows evidence of a chapter in their school life.

A great way to make use of these photos is to create a photo book or a video montage. Those memories we hold close to our hearts. My children love to look at their photos and videos all the time.

But .. consider this!

These moments should make a great reminder to our children because within those sweet faces lies the seed of their passion.

Some hidden memories that spark the exposure of your children’s innate talents.

Like you and I .. our children, once they get caught up with the daily routines of school, homework and other activities, they forget the essence of who they are and what they love to do.

How do you encourage them to see beyond and celebrate little achievements?

This is what I do.

Prep to Grade Six School Photos and Videos

  1. Choose school photos and video of their participation;
  2. Show moments that signify their growth and achievements;
  3. Remind them in words .. how proud you are of them;
  4. Create a photo book and slideshow video through these school years

The achievements in these milestones are important.

It’s your children’s story .. their journey in this lifetime.

Whether it was a challenging time for them or one they breezed through easily, remind them of the growth process, give them the energy to start a new chapter in their life with determination and inspire them to make a difference.

Which do you prefer to create photo books or a montage video?
