My associates and I have been using the expertise of Alison and Damian Laverty from Photoshow on a film project.
We had previously tried two other editors who were recommended by people in the film industry. These operators are extremely professional but tended to follow their own thoughts as opposed to instruction when decisions were made in editing.
Alison and Damian follow our instructions to the letter and do an excellent job. Personally I appreciate the fact that Damian puts extra of his own time into the project to make it more professional.

I was very impressed with your personalised and friendly service at our first meeting when I presented you with a bundle of video tapes to be transferred to DVD. These were delivered promptly and were very reasonably priced for a high quality product.
Especially impressive was your work on an old and dilapidated LP that was destined for the tip but thanks to your efforts you managed to save a portion of it. As a result, you brought much joy to an elderley couple in their mid eighties who played their CD for anyone who visited.

We were recommended Photoshow on DVD after asking around when we needed to transfer all our old family videos onto DVD’s.
I was impressed immediately just by making our enquiry. It was so easy when speaking with Alison Laverty. When arriving for the appointment, Alison and Damian made me extremely welcome and relaxed. Many, many visits followed and each time was no exception.
At first my aim was to organise all our videos to be transferred so as to preserve them. It is not easy leaving all your precious memories with someone, but I totally trusted them and felt reassured they were being well looked after and kept safe. Then as time went on, I was so impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail, our family asked Alison and Damian to put together a video presentation for our son’s 21st. This was a total labour of love and I felt like they were doing this for their own son, such was the time and care put into this spectacular presentation.
We are still having DVD presentations done by Alison and Damian – old family slides onto a Power Point with music, the 21st party itself, and now a holiday. This is on top of having all our family memories safely on DVDs, which are all titled and dated, easy to access and compact and sturdy to last for years. This is priceless for our family.

My family annually seeks alternative gifts for my birthday. Last year they decided to find a company able to preserve and save many memorable childhood slides, but what company could do this? Investigating, via internet searching, my daughter discovered Photoshow. The discovery of Photoshow has indeed been a magical find!
The owners Alison and Damian, are indeed professional in every aspect of their business. No matter what challenge is given to Alison and Damian they give valuable advise, suggestions and work towards providing quality results. Slides almost unrecognisable have been cleaned, restored, enhanced and to my selected music placed on a compact disc (CD). Two 8mm cine films that had not been viewed for thirty years are now beautifully presented on a CD and enjoyed by our family and friends.

Photoshow on DVD did a great job on my husband’s DVD for his 40th birthday. The whole family was thrilled with the finished product!! They put the whole show together for me & even did a second copy on wide screen when we got our new TV. The hardest part was picking the music to go with each photoshow. “Alison and Damian captured 20 hours of footage I had shot in the mid 90s on Video8 formatted tapes. It was wonderful to get the digital files from them and then spend hours reviewing them with friends and family, reliving many memories from the past. I am so happy with their service.
